King County home prices down 11.5%

The median selling price of a King County single-family home was $375,000 in August, down 11.5 percent from a year earlier and 2.3 percent from July, according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

The median selling price of a condo in the county was $252,250 in August, down 5.9 percent from a year earlier, but up slightly from July.

Pending sales of single-family homes and condos combined in King County were up 25.1 percent from a year ago, the NWMLS reported.
